I'm a user experience researcher on the Android team at Google. Before joining the Android team, I helped ship Chromecast, leading the user research for the out-of-box and Casting experiences. I've spent nearly eight years conducting user research on interactive and smart TV products, first at Microsoft and then at Samsung Electronics.
I hold a master's degree in human-computer interaction from the University of Michigan. For my master's thesis, I studied how blogs impact the formation of relationships. I received my undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University in information technology and business.
Along with user research and design, my professional interests include social and collaborative software, entertainment technology, digital assistants, and health & fitness applications. Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, taking photos, sketching and painting, and traveling.
